La pluma que no vuela bien
La Pluma que no vuela bien, is a photographic composition in which the tonalities of the image hieghten the birds "i don't care less" attitude whilst perched on a very British arhcitectural structure, the very walls of the Garrison Library in Gibraltar.
The contradiction in the birds behaviour against that of the architects and protectors of the wall is heightened by the very fact that one and the other are an integral part of the territory in which both co-exist. The seagull with no need to be immortalised sits watching his surroundings, whilst the human who in many parts is his feeder runs around in activities which in the global scheme of things have no relevance in the natural existence of the earth it has subdivided into terrorties and the elements it uses to dilineate that territory.
The title in itself is a contradiction of existences, a Spanish title on a very British oriented image set, which brings together the harmony by the many contradictions which the image can raise by its existence.
